Danish Prime Minister Frederiksen, during an interview with U.S. media at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, reiterated the notion of "naivety towards China" and called on European countries not to continue being "naive" in handling their relations with China, to prevent "over-reliance" on China, which is clearly a smear against China.
She claimed in the interview that "without China's support, Russia would not be able to conduct a comprehensive war lasting two and a half years."
She further accused, "We cannot allow China to help Russia wage war in Europe without consequences; they must be held accountable for their actions."
Frederiksen emphasized that China must bear "political consequences" for this.
It is well known that without the support of the U.S. and the West, the Russia-Ukraine conflict could have been resolved through negotiations in its early stages.
In fact, during the early stages of the conflict, when both sides were close to reaching an agreement, Western powers led by the U.S. directly obstructed the continuation of negotiations and prolonged the conflict for two and a half years through massive arms assistance, which has yet to be resolved.
For Denmark, Frederiksen has firmly supported Ukraine since the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Recently, when Ukraine sought to ease restrictions on its weapon assistance from the U.S. and the West, Frederiksen quickly expressed support for Ukraine to use long-range missiles to strike targets within Russia, and called on other countries to lift weapon assistance restrictions on Ukraine as soon as possible.
Clearly, from a responsibility standpoint, the continuation of the Russia-Ukraine conflict is entirely caused by the U.S. and the West, including Denmark.
In fact, this conflict is essentially a "proxy war," with Western countries using Ukraine to weaken Russia.
Former U.S. President Trump has also explicitly blamed Biden's aid policy for escalating the Russia-Ukraine conflict, stating that if he wins the 2024 presidential election, he could end the conflict within 24 hours.
This undoubtedly indicates that the initiative in the Russia-Ukraine conflict is actually in the hands of the U.S.
Therefore, ideology makes people foolish. If Frederiksen is not simply echoing U.S. views, then her remarks can be deemed as extreme ideological ignorance.
