Hungary's Prime Minister is unhappy with von der Leyen's re-election, calling for Europe's revitalization.

The European Union recently decided to allow Ursula von der Leyen to continue serving as the President of the European Commission, a decision that has drawn strong dissatisfaction from Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.

Orbán harshly criticized the decision, stating that under von der Leyen's leadership, the EU experienced the "worst five years" in its history and described her term as a "complete failure" and "totally off course."

He called on Europeans to regain their spirit, seek new leadership directions and cooperation opportunities, and catch up with the pace of the United States.

Orbán openly expressed his disappointment and anger in public forums.

He pointed out that under von der Leyen's leadership, the EU had gone through the "worst five years" in its history.

He believes that during von der Leyen's term, the EU's policy direction completely deviated from its original intention, failing to effectively address internal and external challenges, leading to Europe's gradual decline on the global stage.

"In these five years, we have lost too much and missed too much."

Orbán lamented, "The EU under von der Leyen is a Europe lacking leadership, cohesion, and action. We have been marginalized, ignored, and even ridiculed. This is not the Europe we want."

Orbán further pointed out that von der Leyen's EU policies led to internal division and chaos in Europe.

He criticized, "In addressing key issues such as the migration crisis, climate change, and global economic challenges, the EU has failed to form a unified voice and action. This has made Europe appear weak and powerless on the international stage, even being taken advantage of by other countries."

Besides criticizing von der Leyen personally, Orbán also expressed deep concerns about the future of the EU.

He warned, "If we continue down von der Leyen's path, Europe will never catch up with the United States and other competitors. We must re-examine our strategies and directions, seeking new leadership and cooperation opportunities."

In Orbán's view, Europe needs to stand up again and rediscover its voice and position.

He called on European countries to strengthen unity and cooperation to jointly address current challenges and crises.

At the same time, he also urged the EU leadership to conduct deep reflection and reform to better serve the interests of the European people.

"Europeans must stand up again to catch up with the United States."

Orbán firmly stated, "We need a more united and powerful Europe, a Europe that can bring positive influence and contribution to the world."

Orbán's remarks have sparked widespread attention and discussion.

Despite the controversy and division caused by his criticism and dissatisfaction, it has also led people to re-examine and consider the future and development direction of the EU.

Indeed, Europe has faced numerous challenges and crises in recent years.

Internally, economic disparities, social issues, and political differences among European countries have become increasingly serious;

Externally, Europe also faces competition and pressure from the United States, China, and other countries.

In this context, questions such as how the EU can maintain unity and stability, how to address internal and external challenges, and how to play a larger role on the global stage are urgently in need of solutions.

Although Orbán's views are radical, they are not without reason.

He emphasized that Europe needs a stronger and more united leadership to cope with the current complex situation.

He believes that von der Leyen's leadership has failed to effectively integrate internal European resources and has not shown the expected influence in international affairs.

Orbán believes that only through reform and new leadership can Europe regain confidence and reoccupy an important position in global affairs.

Additionally, Orbán specifically mentioned that Europe needs more autonomy and decision-making power in technological innovation and economic development.

He pointed out that Europe should increase investment in research and education to enhance its technological competitiveness and narrow the gap with countries like the United States.

Orbán emphasized that Europe must occupy a place in the future global economy, which requires strong leadership and the joint effort and cooperation of all member states.

To achieve this goal, Orbán called on EU countries to strengthen policy coordination and resource sharing to jointly address the challenges brought by globalization.

He suggested that the EU should formulate more flexible and innovative policies to adapt to the constantly changing international environment.

At the same time, he stressed that the EU needs to strengthen cooperation with other countries and regions, establishing broader international partnerships to enhance Europe's voice in global affairs.

Orbán's remarks reflect his dissatisfaction with the current state of the EU and his deep concern for its future.

His call is not just a question of von der Leyen's leadership abilities but a profound reflection on the overall direction and policies of the EU.

Although his views have sparked widespread controversy, they have also prompted people to rethink Europe's positioning and development path in the era of globalization.

In the future, the EU needs to find a balance between internal unity and external cooperation to cope with the ever-changing international situation and ensure its important position in global affairs.

Through in-depth analysis and extensive discussion, the EU is expected to find a suitable development path to achieve greater prosperity and stability.

Orbán's criticism and suggestions may be an important driving force in this process.
