According to the North Korean Workers' Party organ, "Rodong Sinmun," Chairman Kim Jong-un attended the completion ceremony of the Pyongyang Jinxiu Mountain area Central Party School on the 21st.
The report featured several photographs, including ones showing portraits of the three generations of leaders, Kim Il-sung, Kim Jong-il, and Kim Jong-un, displayed on the exterior wall of the Revolutionary History Museum within the Central Party School.
Additionally, photographs showed Chairman Kim giving instructions to the cadres with portraits of the three leaders hanging on the classroom blackboard.
This is the first confirmation of Chairman Kim's portrait being displayed in the same location as his predecessors, as reported.
Most party cadres in North Korea consider this to be a "natural occurrence."
One North Korean cadre stated after the report in "Rodong Sinmun," "This is something that could happen at any time." He further added, "It's a long-overdue move."
There is no embarrassment or surprise felt about Chairman Kim's portrait being displayed alongside those of his predecessors.
Another cadre mentioned, "Until now, it was only because of the leader's (Chairman Kim's) persuasion that his portrait couldn't be hung." When asked about the reason behind Chairman Kim's delay in allowing his portrait to be displayed, he replied, "It's related to age."
The inclusion of the portrait of the young leader, who is in his thirties, alongside his predecessors does attract attention.
However, now that Chairman Kim is over 30 years old, his leadership has been recognized, and the regime has stabilized, cadres do not express surprise at the hanging of his portrait.
In contrast, ordinary residents were "startled" to see Chairman Kim's portrait displayed alongside those of his predecessors.
According to sources in Pyongan Province, "Everyone was surprised when they saw the newspaper.
It was said before that there was only one leader, but now, unknowingly, there are three."
It is reported that the Central Party Propaganda Department produced study materials based on Chairman Kim's commemorative speech at the completion ceremony of the Central Party School and instructed party schools in various regions to use them.
Sources revealed that a lecture was held at the party school in Pyongan Province on the 23rd, emphasizing, "Taking the lead from the Central Party School in the country's first dedication of the leader's portrait, party schools in all regions should also dedicate theirs in the future."
From this, it can be inferred that Chairman Kim's portrait will gradually be hung in party schools across various regions.
