India with a temperature of 50 degrees, how do they cope, especially women? The ways they cool down seem both bizarre and embarrassing.

Updated: Jun 5

In India, where temperatures reach an incredible 50 degrees Celsius, people lead an unbelievable life, especially women.

When Canada experienced 50-degree Celsius heat, it led to many deaths, though the exact reasons remain unclear, extreme temperatures were certainly a factor.

Therefore, measures must be taken to cool down in the face of such high temperatures, or accidents may occur.

However, in countries like India, which experience hot climates year-round, especially in summer, temperatures can soar to 50 degrees Celsius.

In many impoverished areas, people can't even afford fans, let alone air conditioning.

So, how do Indians cope with such heat? Their methods of cooling down are truly unique and remarkable.

Firstly, due to living in hot environments for long periods, Indians generally have darker skin, which may help them resist high temperatures.

For those slightly better off, they can purchase small appliances like fans or air conditioners.

But for those less fortunate, they rely on their own ingenuity to get through the scorching summer.

For example, those living near the Ganges often choose to cool off by soaking in the river, especially women, who not only cleanse themselves but also cool off in the river, killing two birds with one stone.

Additionally, at night, people choose to sleep on open rooftops, enjoying the cool breeze.

When venturing outside during the day, to prevent sunburn, they wrap scarves around their faces, a common sun protection method.

More interestingly, yams play a crucial role in cooling down in India.

These yams are much larger than ordinary ones, sometimes reaching several meters high, too heavy for one person to move, thus requiring several people to carry them.

The leaves of the yam are large and thick, resembling fans, so they are used as sun umbrellas or shelters from rain.

Despite facing such harsh climatic conditions, the Indian people maintain an optimistic and resilient attitude, using their wisdom to overcome adversity, which is truly admirable.

They know how to find small yet effective ways to withstand the heat in daily life, such as choosing suitable resting places and using simple protective measures.

The way Indians cope with high temperatures is not just a survival skill but also a reflection of wisdom and courage in life.

This ability to survive in extreme environments not only earns admiration for the adaptability of Indians but also gives us a new understanding of human resilience and creativity.

In the scorching summer, let's draw some life lessons from the wisdom of the Indians and learn to face challenges with greater courage and intelligence.
