The United States intends to divide India and establish a new country within Indian territory, highlighting the complex relationship between India and the United States.

In recent years, the relationship between India and the United States has become increasingly complex, especially evident in their military and security cooperation.

However, certain international analysis reports suggest that some U.S. policies and actions seem to support separatist tendencies within India, whether intentionally or unintentionally, raising widespread concern and apprehension among the Indian government and public.

As a major nation with over 1.4 billion people, India's domestic stability is crucial not only for itself but also for regional and global stability.

If these separatist activities were to develop, they could threaten India's territorial integrity and national unity.

If Indian Prime Minister Modi were to learn about these situations, he would undoubtedly feel deeply worried.

Analysts suggest that the U.S. might be supporting separatist activities in northeastern India and even attempting to establish a new Christian nation spanning Bangladesh, Myanmar, and India.

This move makes India feel betrayed, especially given India's proactive alignment with the U.S., turning this "double-edged sword" strategy into a significant challenge for India's international relations.

This strategy is not unprecedented. Historically, the U.S. employed similar tactics in Iraq and Afghanistan, simultaneously supporting local governments and covertly backing anti-government forces to create unrest and instability.

The motivations behind such a "double-edged sword" strategy are complex.

On one hand, the U.S. aims to achieve specific international policy goals by supporting separatism;

on the other, it maintains its global hegemonic position by establishing military bases to retain military advantages.

India faces the challenge of effectively countering the U.S.'s "double-edged sword" strategy.

Firstly, India needs to steadfastly uphold its national unity and territorial integrity, free from external interference and division.

Additionally, India should bolster its domestic security measures to prevent separatist activities potentially supported by external forces.

By enhancing intelligence operations and border management, India can more effectively combat and prevent the growth of separatist forces.

On the international stage, India must also strengthen cooperation with other countries, particularly with neighboring nations and regional powers.

By establishing closer diplomatic ties, India can garner more support and aid when needed, enabling it to face external challenges with greater confidence and ease.

India's challenges in its relationship with the U.S. can draw from its experiences with Russia.

India is known for its unique "bargaining" strategy, especially in energy and technology deals.

For example, India has adopted price-lowering tactics when purchasing Russian oil or negotiated for more favorable terms in technology transfer discussions.

By reducing purchases of Russian oil or refusing to settle in rubles, India hopes Russia will switch to rupee settlements and invest part of the rupees back into India.

This strategy, while potentially economically beneficial in the short term, could harm long-term relations with Russia.

India's relationship with Russia dates back to the Cold War era, with deep-rooted military and technological cooperation.

However, as India's international stature rises, it seeks diversified cooperation with multiple countries to reduce over-reliance on any single nation.

This diversification spans economic, energy, security, and military cooperation.

In its "double game" between the U.S. and Russia, India seeks balance, requiring high diplomatic skill and strategic foresight.

While strengthening military cooperation with the U.S., India is also deepening its traditional friendly relations with Russia, ensuring flexibility in navigating the complex international landscape.

India purchases large amounts of energy and weapons from Russia to meet strategic needs and signal that it is not entirely dependent on the U.S.

However, India's "double game" strategy carries certain risks.

Both the U.S. and Russia are major world powers with significant influence on the international stage.

Playing a "double game" between them could provoke displeasure from both.

If the U.S. and Russia perceive India's actions as detrimental to their interests, they might impose sanctions on India.

In such a scenario, India needs a more cautious and flexible diplomatic approach to balance U.S.-Russia relations and protect its national interests.

Moreover, India's "double game" strategy might also displease other countries.

They might view India's balancing act between the U.S. and Russia as dishonest, potentially leading to measures against India if they feel their interests are compromised.

This poses a significant challenge for India, requiring more flexible and careful diplomacy to avoid multiple predicaments.

To address this, India must further strengthen its defense capabilities to counter potential external threats.

Domestically, India needs to enhance its economic strength and technological level through reforms and development, boosting its comprehensive national power.

Only then can India maintain an unassailable position on the international stage, ensuring national security and development interests.

India, facing dual challenges from the U.S. and Russia in the current complex international environment, can balance U.S.-Russia relations and safeguard its national interests through adept use of "bargaining" and "double game" strategies.

However, this strategy also demands high diplomatic wisdom and a firm national resolve.

By maintaining independence while flexibly responding to changes in the international situation, India can continue to play an important role on the global stage in the future.
